Man found disoriented lying on I-95 in Halifax County

Authorities are seeking the identity of this man who was found lying on the side of Interstate 95 in Halifax County on Oct. 22.

— Halifax County authorities are trying to find out the identity of a man found disoriented on Interstate 95 Tuesday night so he can be reunited with his family.

Deputies found him lying along the highway at the 159 southbound mile post and took him to a local healthcare facility.

The man is white, between the ages of 50 and 60 and is 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.

    Glad he was found before he became the victim of a hit/run or even a hit/stay. Hopefully someone WILL recognize him, but if not at least he's safe for now.

    Halifax/I-95 is the "hobo highway." They walk south along the highway in winter and north in the summer. He's just one of hundreds. Won't be anything to find.
