Raleigh, N.C. — A man died Saturday night after crashing his motorcycle into an SUV on the North Carolina State University campus.
Around 10 p.m., officials with the NC State University Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on Fraternity Court. According to reports, Matthew Edward Billings ran his motorcycle into the rear of an SUV. Billings was transported to WakeMed, where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Billings was not a student, authorities say.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing, but officials believe speed could be a factor.
