Man dies following shooting at Raleigh apartment

A man died Sunday following a shooting in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man died Sunday following a shooting in Raleigh.

Around 10 p.m., officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to an apartment complex located at the 3100 block Calumet Drive. At the scene, they located a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was transported to WakeMed, where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. No suspect information was released.

An investigation in underway. Police say there is no concern for public safety.
