Man dies after car crash in Moore County

Officials said the 31-year-old man was pinned in his car after it ran off the road and crashed into a group of trees around 3 a.m. on Tarry Church Road.

According to officials, crews had to cut off the front passenger side door to get to the victim. Officials say that man had no pulse and was not breathing when they pulled him from the car. He was later declared dead at Moore Regional Hospital.

The man was the only person in the car, officials said.

The identity of the man has not yet been released. The crash is under investigation.
