Man dies after being hit by 3 vehicles in Fayetteville, police searching for hit-and-run drivers

Fayetteville Police are investigating after a man was hit and killed on Bingham Drive around midnight on Sunday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville Police are investigating after a man was hit and killed on Bingham Drive around midnight on Sunday.
Police say 22-year-old Ja'Lauis McDougald was crossing the road in dark clothes. The driver tried to stop, but ran into McDougald.
McDougald was thrown into the opposite lane of traffic, where he was struck by two more vehicles.

Police are searching for the drivers who didn't stop after hitting him.

One car is believed to be a Dodge Charger. The other an unknown SUV.
