Man convicted in Wake Forest shooting death

A Raleigh man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole after being found guilty of a fatal shooting in Wake Forest almost two years ago.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole after being found guilty of a fatal shooting in Wake Forest almost two years ago.

Walter Britt Garrison, 34, of 4329 Durham Road, was convicted of first-degree murder in the Aug. 28, 2015, shooting death of Glenn Tashaun Lee, 27, of Franklinton, on the 400 block of North Allen Road in Wake Forest.

Garrison’s brother, Patrick Armond Garrison, was charged as an accessory in the case.
