Man Charged With Stealing Rent Checks
A Raleigh man has been charged with stealing rent checks from apartment complexes across Raleigh, police said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — A local man has been charged with stealing rent checks from apartment complexes across Raleigh, police said.
Charles Epps, 27, faces charges in connection with the theft of dozens of checks from rent drop boxes at six apartment complexes. Seventy checks were stolen during October, police said.
Epps was being held on at the Wake County Jail on an $80,000 bond.
