Man charged in Knightdale kidnapping, break-in

A Knightdale man has been charged with breaking into a house, kidnapping a woman and stealing two laptops, according to arrest warrants.

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — A Knightdale man has been charged with breaking into a house, kidnapping a woman and stealing two laptops, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrant states that Gregory Olakunle Adeogun Jr., 19, broke into a home on Varcroft Drive Friday, confined a female resident and stole laptops worth more than $2,000.

Adeogun, of Naylor Road, was charged with second-degree kidnapping, breaking-and-entering and larceny after breaking-and-entering. He was placed in the Wake County jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
