A Fayetteville man is facing charges after authorities seized more than 500 pounds of marijuana Monday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man is facing charges after authorities seized more than 500 pounds of marijuana Monday.

Investigators said they searched a home in the 6200 block of Milford Road and found multiple stolen firearms, 1 kilogram of cocaine and more than 500 pounds of marijuana inside.

The search was part of a joint investigation between the Fayetteville Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm and Explosives.

Bernard H. Ferguson III, 32, was charged with trafficking cocaine by possession and manufacture, trafficking marijuana by possession and manufacture and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of keeping and selling controlled substances, according to authorities.

Ferguson was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under $500,000 secured bond.
