Raleigh police were seeking the public's help Wednesday to learn more about a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday evening in east Raleigh. 

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police were seeking the public's help Wednesday to learn more about a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday evening in east Raleigh.

According to investigators, Joshua George Ayalogu, 30, was shot at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of New Bern Avenue and Heath Street.

Ayalogu was taken to WakeMed, where he died Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information about the incident should call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.
