Lilly Pulitzer, the popular pastel resortwear brand, announce on Tuesday that it will open a retail store in Raleigh's North Hills shopping center next year.

The store will occupy over 2,400 square feet, in the space currently occupied by Learning Express Toys. Learning Express will relocation to the space formerly occupied by Flink’s Framing.

“We are thrilled to have Lilly Pulitzer open at North Hills,” said John Kane, CEO of Kane Realty Corporation. “We strongly believe they will be successful in this location.”

Lilly Pulitzer was running a juice stand in Palm Beach and started her line of colorful women's and girls' clothing inspired by her need for something comfortable to wear that wouldn't show stains from the fresh-squeezed fruit. It has since evolved to include swimsuits, shoes, bags, jewelry and decorative items like pillows and printed glasses.
