Lightning Starts Fire in Cary House

— Lightning struck a Cary house during Wednesday afternoon's storms, damaging the upstairs.

Officials said the strike was at 103 Scotts Cove Lane in eastern Cary. It happened about 1:30 p.m., they said.

No injuries were reported.

    Not surprised. Thought there'd be more than one with the way lightning and hail was coming down around there yesterday.

    Thank God no one was seriously injured during the storm.

    The street is Scot's Cove Lane in Lochmere - glad no one was hurt
