Lakeview School in Durham was locked down Monday afternoon while police officers investigated a drive-by shooting on Dearborn Drive.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Lakeview School in Durham was locked down Monday afternoon while police officers investigated a drive-by shooting on Dearborn Drive.
According to authorities, two men were outside a home near the school when shots were fired from a silver vehicle at about 2 p.m. The men ran to the school for help and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One of the victims was indented by family members as Jeremy Figueroa.
The lockdown delayed dismissal for students.
