I will bet money the shooter had recently been arrested and should have still been in jail for whatever crime was involved but got out somehow due to a sympathetic Judge. The Durham Police department is not really the problem, the Court systems in Durham are the problem. Multiple offences, multiple felonies and they keep going free. Are the Judges and Prosecutors afraid of being labelled racist if they enforce the laws? Put lawbreakers in prison regardless of race. Durham is predominantly I'll say "non-Caucasian" because the other term is not at all accurate. Any active enforcement of the laws is going to pick up a far larger number of "non-Caucasians" than other ethnic groups just on percentage of population alone. The activists like to cry racism or some other prejudicial term when more of one ethnic group or another is picked up for crimes than another. Why do you hear "Durham" and "shooting" so often?
