Juvenile escapee sought

— The state Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is looking for a juvenile who did not return after a visit with her family.

Tyneisha W., whose full last name was withheld, was scheduled to return to Samarkand Youth Development Sunday afternoon. She was last seen at 250 Turner St. in Southern Pines, the department said in a press release.

The department has notified local law enforcement.

Anyone with information about Tyneisha should contact local law enforcement.

    Lord no, why start holding parents responsible now?

    First, it's not always the parents fault. Most of them time yes, but sometimes no. Second, we don't know the whole story. Children do make wrong decisions sometimes, maybe her family didn't even know she ran again we don't know the whole story.
