The State Highway Patrol on Wednesday identified a jogger who was hit by a pickup near Clayton early Tuesday.

<b>CLAYTON, N.C.</b> — The State Highway Patrol on Wednesday identified a jogger who was hit by a pickup near Clayton early Tuesday.

David Wilson Anderson of Smithfield was hit at about 5:25 a.m. on Smith Road near Polenta Road near Cleveland High School. He had no identification on him at the time of the crash, troopers said.

Anderson was listed in serious condition at WakeMed in Raleigh.
