ROLESVILLE, N.C. — A Triangle man could spend up to 10 years in prison on sex charges linked to an international child pornography investigation.

John Kenneth Horne Jr., most recently of 602 Redford Place Drive in Rolesville, was arrested in December and sentenced in January to 84 to 129 months in prison on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

State Bureau of Investigation agents seized computers, laptops, flash drives, cameras and webcams in July from homes Horne shared with family members in Rolesville, Wake Forest and Chapel Hill. They found evidence of child pornography on the electronic devices.

The Department of Homeland Security referred the SBI to Horne after Australian authorities arrested a couple in that country and found they had shared exploitive images, video and text over the Internet. DHS linked Horne to a screen name used to communicate with the couple.
