FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — All southbound lanes of Interstate 95 were closed north of Fayetteville Monday night after a tractor-trailer's engine blew up and sent oil spewing all over the highway.

No one was injured when the truck jack-knifed and ran off the side of the road, leaving about 900 feet of spilled oil on the interstate.

A second tractor-trailer slipped on the oil, jack-knifed as well and came to a halt in the middle of the highway.

The road was closed for several hours while crews cleaned up the mess.
