Hold on to Your Atlanta Roof!

Remember how the saying goes: March, in like a lion and out like a lamb. While many of us across the US are enjoying beautiful early March days, the month has more foul weather to bring us before we transition fully into spring. In Atlanta, that's coming in the form of dangerously high winds that herald the arrival of cold weather for the region. Gusts of up to 40 miles an hour are predicted, leading the National Weather Service to issue a hazardous conditions advisory -- it's important to be careful while driving or performing other tasks outdoors.

It could also pose a risk to Atlanta roofing. If your roof isn't in good condition, it can't withstand high winds. At best, you might lose some shingles or panels, but in the worse case scenario, you might lose all or part of your roof. It's too dangerous to ask a roofing crew to go up now, but let this be your reminder: get your roof checked out BEFORE there's a high wind advisory in effect in your area, so you'll be safe and sound when it's blustery outside.
