Two arrested in connection with Raeford murder

Two people were arrested Friday in connection with the murder of a Raeford man, Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said.

RAEFORD, N.C. — Two people were arrested Friday in connection with the murder of a Raeford man, Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said.
LaShawn Hollingsworth and Moesha Goins are both charged in the death of Jimmy Bethea. According to Peterkin, Bethea was found dead on May 17 at 169 Pine Lake Drive by a coworker after he did not show up for work.

Hollingsworth and Goins were found at 550 Burke Road and were taken into custody without incident. Both were being held in the Hoke County Detention Center without bond.
