RALEIGH, N.C. — The 32nd annual Greek Festival is under way at the state fairgrounds’ Expo Center this weekend.

The event features music, dancing and authentic Greek food prepared by the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church family.

Artemis Sarayiotes has spent over 30 years with the church.

"I have to stay fit. I do a lot of cooking in the church when I can," Sarayiotes said.

Sarayiotes, known to the community as Arte, is almost 92 years old.

"I guess God loves me. He wants me around a little longer and it is all that Greek olive oil," she said.

This weekend she hopes to pass on her wisdom and love of Greek food.

General admission tickets are $3 and children under 13 get in free.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.
