You are not the only one that feels that way...they are all over the 'boro, hanging out, standing around doing nothing, waiting for something to happen. Where are the "Po Po". They act like they are afraid to of the "Court Yard", or even to police the stores and corners where they are know to hang out. I'M A WAYNE COUNTY RESIDENT, TAX PAYER....Something needs to be done?

Apparenlty claud doesn't realize he's doing what he's accusing everyone else of doing, not very clever are you?...where is the NAACP when things like this happen...why aren't they sending representatives walking up and down the streets with these young men mentoring them and helping them find a better way of life...?????

You know what guys, I hate to say it, but Worland and mochabrown are right. Not a good area of town with groups of grown folks walking around without much to do all during the day and night in that area. Can't argue with the truth.

WOW claud and ashley, ever been down James or John st in the middle of the day in goldsboro, everyone is sitting on the front porch or walking across the streets, GROWN MEN, who should be working, idle hands are the devils tools

Wow, claud, that was the best thing I have ever heard anyone say, I think. I thought I was the only one that felt that way!

Apparently you guys dont do anything all day but wait for WRAL to report news so you can say something smart/sarcastic/negative. I guess everyone has their own way of feeling important or making themselves feel better about self...

Not just Slocumb Street...the corner of Grantham and George and also just off Ash Street (gang of men under a tree), after you cross over the railroad track.

  • Worland Oct 18, 2010

That's where dozens of grown men, with nothing to do all day, hang out on street corners in Goldsboro. Gang or drug related.
