Goldsboro Moves to Mandatory Water Restrictions

Goldsboro, N.C. — Goldsboro will soon be added to the increasing number of cities and towns going to mandatory water restrictions.
Effective at midnight Monday, the city will move from voluntary to mandatory water conservation measures. As part of the restrictions, residents will only be allowed to water their lawns once a week and no car washing will be allowed.
Officials said they hope the new measures will protect the city's diminishing water supply.
