GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro man was held on a $1.1 million secured bond on multiple drug charges involving methamphetamine, opium and marijuana.

Jonathan Lee Wiggs, 31, of 548 Ebenezer Church Road, was arrested Thursday and held in the Wayne County jail. He was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursor, second level trafficking opium and possession of marijuana up to ½ an ounce.

Wayne County authorities said they were trying to serve an arrest warrant on Wiggs on Monday when they came across an inactive methamphetamine lab, prompting them to get a search warrant for his property.
