Fayetteville, N.C. — An 8-year-old girl who was reported missing Thursday from Lucile Souders Elementary School in Fayetteville has been found safe, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.
Leniyah Parker was at her grandmother's house, authorities said.
Around 3:30 p.m., the girl was standing in front of the school when a woman picked her up and drove off. The sheriff's office has identified that woman, but are not released any details about her relationship to the girl.
