That ok, they are closing tonight and will not need the cask to pay out, glad no one was hurt. It is true about the name, I have been in several of these"cafe" and no were did I see a hook up to the internet, that was just a name to call them to get around the law.

I'm REALLY tired of the way WRAL, and the N&O also, describe these gambling parlors as "Internet Cafe's". They are, pure and simple, gambling establishments, period, end of sentence.

An "Internet Cafe" is an establishment which is both a cafe/coffeeshop AND a business which provides both internet access, usually in the way of WiFi across a broadband connection, and which might also rent time on its own equipment, for customers to access and use the 'net, in legal activities.

Can't ANYONE get their stories right anymore?

"Was it a virtual robbery? Did they take bytes or bits?" --They stole the whole internet. The only reason GOLO is still working is thanks to their redundant arrays of back up servers.

During the day, that parking lot is where officers meet. Sometimes you'll see a few dozen cars there at a time.

At night...there is rarely a cop to be found. And as someone who use to work without spitting distance of this "cafe"...shady folks are about.
