Franklin County authorities looking for missing man

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Wednesday afternoon for Christopher Fitzgerald Wrenn of Franklin County.

LOUISBURG, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Wednesday afternoon for Christopher Fitzgerald Wrenn of Franklin County.

Sheriff Kent Winstead said Wrenn is a retired Air Force colonel.

Wrenn, 53, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, was last seen Tuesday at his home, at 4725 Seven Paths Road in Spring Hope.

He is described as a white man, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 245 pounds. He has dark gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark Under Armour shirt, dark jeans, and brown and green Timberland boots. He also is known to wear black, wire-rim bifocals.

Anyone with information about Wrenn is asked to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 919-496 2186.
