FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police on Thursday asked for the public's help in identifying four men who forced their way into a home on Ayton Place early Tuesday and shot two men inside.

Investigators believe the men fled in a 2011 Ford Escape, which collided with a fence and lost part of its tail light, around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The men were dressed all in black.

Jarvis Baldwin, 27, and Jarrett Leach, 24, were taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the several items were stolen from the home, but the crime does not appear to be random.

Anyone with information about the suspects or their vehicle is asked to call investigators at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to an arrest and callers never have to identify themselves.
