Four remain hospitalized after State Fair ride injuries
A week after five people were injured on a midway ride at the North Carolina State Fair, investigators continued Thursday to question people in the case and determine whether more criminal charges are warranted.

Three of the people – Anthony Gorham, 29, Kisha Gorham, 39, and a 14-year-old – were injured Oct. 24 when a ride called "The Vortex" began moving while they were getting off.
At their requests, WakeMed is not releasing their medical conditions.
Two other people were also injured but have been released from the hospital.
Anesto Newell, 32, was injured Oct. 28 while dismantling a different ride also called "The Vortex."
Witnesses reported that he became trapped when a seating compartment fell on him, causing him to suffer a broken back, pelvis and leg.
Newell was listed in good condition at WakeMed Monday.
Timothy Dwayne Tutterrow, 46, of Quitman, Ga., who was the ride operator in the Oct. 24 case, is charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators say that critical safety devices were compromised when someone tampered with the ride. Authorities won't comment on a motive but have said that they don't believe Tutterrow was targeting anyone.
More charges are possible in the case.
