RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a Four Oaks man with driving while impaired after finding him sleeping behind the wheel of a running truck early Saturday, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrant says that Jonathan Mark Raynor, 36, of 1675 Old School Road, was asleep while the truck's lights were on and engine running on West Hargett Street in Raleigh around 5:30 a.m.

Raynor told the officer he had been consuming alcohol, and he failed a field sobriety test, according to the warrant.

Raynor was released from the Wake County jail after posting a $1,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
