FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fort Bragg soldier was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree rape.

Michael Fazekas, 20, is accused of raping a 20-year-old woman at a house on Foxlake Drive on Oct. 31, according to Fayetteville police Sgt. J. Somerindyke.

The woman had been drinking and passed out in one of the bedrooms, police said.

"When she woke up, the suspect was on top of her having intercourse without her consent. She screamed and he got off of her, then left the room," Somerindyke said.

Fazekas was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond. No other information was released.
