Former manager sues McCreery
"American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery is facing legal trouble.

According to The Nashville Post, Todd Cassetty, owner of the management company Cassetty Entertainment, claims that McCreery did not pay him for representing him. In the lawsuit, Cassetty states that he signed McCreery as the company's first artist in 2012, but was "strung along for months" before the two parted ways in April.
Cassetty is alleging that McCreery offered to pay him 15 percent of all gross revenue, but that number was countered by McCreery's mother, Judy, who stepped in and offered 2 percent.
The suit was filed in Davidson County Chancery Court in Nashville last week.
McCreery issued a statement to the Post saying there was no truth to the allegations.
"I have offered to pay Todd more than once, but he wanted an unreasonable amount for only five months of work. Anyone who knows me knows how I conduct myself, so I am not worried they will believe any of this. This is just an attempt to embarrass me and my family. The facts will come out when we have our day in court," McCreery said.
