Flu shot clinics begin Oct. 3 in Wake

Beginning Oct. 3, Wake County will hold weekly, open flu shot clinics at the Public Health Center, 10 Sunnybrook Road each Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beginning Oct. 3, Wake County will hold weekly, open flu shot clinics at the Public Health Center, 10 Sunnybrook Road each Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vaccines are free to uninsured, pregnant women and to children who qualify under the Vaccines for Children program. Most people will pay $30.

Additional vaccination clinics will be held:

Oct. 17, 3-7 p.m. at  Northern Regional Center, 350 E. Holding Ave. in Wake Forest  

Oct. 31, 3-7 p.m. at  Eastern Regional Center, 1002 Dogwood Drive in Zebulon 

Nov. 14, 3-7 p.m. at Southern Regional Center, 130 N. Judd Parkway in Fuquay-Varina

Nov. 21, 3-7 p.m. at  Western Wake Human Services Center, 150 Cornerstone Drive, Suite 100, in Cary.

Flu shots are also available by appointment at each regional center.
