Five women charged in Raleigh prostitution sting

RALEIGH, N.C. — Five women were arrested in a prostitution sting in Raleigh, officials said Friday.

Raleigh Police targeted communities near downtown Raleigh, including neighborhoods near Lane and North State streets and Bragg and East Martin streets.

The five women – Carsha Nichols, Tarsha Nichols, Alicia McCandless, Shanta Monique and Eunice Chavis – were charged with prostitution. They were being held in the Wake County jail Friday.
