RALEIGH, N.C. — A fire tore through a Raleigh house Saturday evening.

The home at 8400 Lunar Stone Place, near Glenwood Avenue, caught fire at about 8 p.m. The blaze had fully engulfed the two-story house when firefighters arrived.

The fire was extinguished by midnight, and crews stayed a while longer to put out hot spots.

Most of the damage to the house was contained to an area above the garage.

No one was injured, and no other structures were damaged.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation, but fire investigators said they do not believe it was suspicious.
