Fire damages Fuquay-Varina house

The three people who were inside at the time escaped. Two were able to exit through the front door, but a third person, who jumped from a second-story window, injured an ankle and was taken to a hospital.

Battalion Chief Scott Daniel said the fire started in the kitchen, and that it did not seem suspicious.
