— Authorities in Fayetteville were investigating the cause of a blaze that burned an apartment building Tuesday afternoon.

No one was hurt in the fire that heavily damaged the building at 2109 Elvira Drive, but tenants in eight units were displaced. The Red Cross was working to find them temporary shelter, Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management said.

Five engine companies responded to the fire, including three ladder trucks.
