Final Fire: Battle of Champions tickets going on sale

The Got To Be NC Competition Dining Series is coming to an end in November, and tickets for the finale go on sale this Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Got To Be NC Competition Dining Series is coming to an end in November, and tickets for the finale go on sale this Thursday at 7 p.m.

The competition will span three dinner battles from Nov. 15-17 at the Renaissance Raleigh Hotel in North Hills. Tickets are $119, but guests will be treated to a gourmet six-course meal and be able to vote for their favorite dishes. You can purchase tickets on Competition Dining's website. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly!
Final Fire: Battle of the Champions brings together regional champions from previous "Iron Chef"-style competitions, including Fire in the Triangle and Fire in the Triad. Our regional winner from Fire in the Triangle is Chef Ryan Payne of Weathervane in Chapel Hill.

The schedule is as follows:

Nov. 15: George Neal, 1618 Seafood Grille, Greensboro vs. Michael Foreman, Bistro Roca and Antler's Bar, Blowing Rock
Nov. 16: Andy Hopper: Chefs 105, Morehead City vs. Ryan Payne, Weathervane, Chapel Hill
Nov. 17: Battle East vs. West (Nov. 15 winner vs. Nov. 16 winner)

The winning chef will receive $4,000 and a customized handmade box set of knives by Ironmade Forge in Charlotte. The runner-up wins $1,000.
