FBI offers $25,000 in Parsons case
SALISBURY, N.C. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering $25,000 for information leading to the location or return of Erica Lynn Parsons.

Erica was 13 when she was reported missing from her adoptive parents' Salisbury home in July. She hasn't been seen by her family or friends for two years. Her adoptive parents said the girl went to stay with relatives in Asheville and haven't seen her since, authorities said.

“The FBI, Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, and the SBI are confident our agents and investigators will uncover the details needed to lead us to Erica, but we are facing a difficult task because of the amount of time that has passed since she was last seen and when law enforcement was notified," said Deron Roberts, assistant special agent in charge of the FBI's Charlotte office.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rowan County Sheriff's Office at (704) 216-8700 or the FBI's Charlotte office at (704) 672-6100.
