Fayetteville police seek suspect in stabbing

Police said that Tobias Rashad Bethea, 24, of the 3400 block of Gardner Street, was dropped off at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center emergency room with a stab wound to his chest on the evening of Nov. 20.

Fayetteville police seek suspect in stabbing
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection to a stabbing incident.

Police said that Tobias Rashad Bethea, 24, of the 3400 block of Gardner Street, was dropped off at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center emergency room with a stab wound to his chest on the evening of Nov. 20.

Investigators determined that the stabbing occurred in the area of Ramsey Street and Langdon Street. They identified Kelvin Lamar Eric Branch, 32, of the 1300 block of Murchison Road, as the suspect.

Detectives have obtained warrants for Branch’s arrest on a charge of attempted first-degree murder.
