Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department are searching for a suspect who stole narcotics from a CVS pharmacy on Sunday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department are searching for a suspect who stole narcotics from a CVS pharmacy on Sunday.

Police say the masked suspect entered the store located at 100 Law Road around 5:30 p.m. According to officials, the suspect walked up to the pharmacy counter, displayed a handgun and demanded Oxycodone pills from the clerk.

After receiving the pills, the suspect fled the business on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s who stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has a fair complexion and a beard and was wearing a black toboggan, a black, long-sleeve sweater, a gray, long-sleeve button-down shirt underneath the sweater and light colored jeans with holes at the time of the robbery.
