Fayetteville police: One shot, another robbed following early morning card game

Fayetteville police were seeking the public's help Tuesday to find the person responsible for an armed robbery and shooting that sent one person to the hospital following a card game.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police were seeking the public's help Tuesday to find the person responsible for an armed robbery and shooting that sent one person to the hospital following a card game.

Officers were called to a home in the 1900 block of Blake Street shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say several people were playing cards at the home in the overnight hours. A short time after the game ended, someone entered the home armed, shot someone in the leg and robbed another person inside.

The shooting victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and was listed in good condition. The victim's name has not been released.

An investigation of the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
