Fayetteville police look for bank robber

BB&T bank at 3012 Raeford Road in Fayetteville was robbed Thursday morning, according to police.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — BB&T bank at 3012 Raeford Road in Fayetteville was robbed Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers responded to the bank just before 10 a.m.

Witnesses said a black man entered the bank and demanded money. He threatened to use a weapon, but did not show one.

The suspect was said to be about 5'5" tall and stocky. He was described as wearing a green shirt with large blue stripes, light-colored pants, a camouflage fishing hat and dark sunglasses.
