Fayetteville Police Investigate String of Convenience Store Robberies

Two people were taken into custody Sunday in connection with a crime spree across Fayetteville, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two people were taken into custody Sunday in connection with a crime spree across Fayetteville, police said.

Four convenience stores on Bragg Boulevard were robbed between 1 and 8 a.m.

Police withheld the names of the suspects questioned.

The robberies took place at two Kangaroo gas stations, a Hess gas station and an Amoco gas station.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8487) or the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1885.
