Fayetteville police ID suspects in Colonial Drive murder

Fayetteville police identified two suspects Wednesday morning wanted in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Garrett Alford, a Lumberton man who was found shot to death Tuesday morning behind a home in the 200 block of Colonial Drive.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police identified two suspects Wednesday morning wanted in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Garrett Alford, a Lumberton man who was found dead Tuesday morning behind a home in the 200 block of Colonial Drive. 

Steven Moore, 25, was taken into custody early Wednesday in Robeson County, police said. He faces charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and robbery with a deadly weapon. 

Fayetteville police are looking for 25-year-old Rahsheed Williams, who will also be charged in the shooting. Williams, of Fayetteville, is 5-feet-9 inches tall and about 140 pounds, police said.
