Fayetteville police arrest man on child rape charges

Fayetteville police arrested a 21-year-old man Friday on charges of second-degree rape and taking indecent liberties with a child.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police arrested a 21-year-old man Friday on charges of second-degree rape and taking indecent liberties with a child.

Aaron Lee Henry, 21, of the 700 block of Horseshoe Road in Autryville, also faces charges of second-degree sexual offense and crimes against nature. Henry was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center Saturday under a $50,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
