Fayetteville man wanted in assault, robbery
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has identified a suspect wanted in an assault and robbery Monday that left a man with serious head injuries.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect wanted in an assault and robbery Monday that left a man with serious head injuries.
Deputies said Wednesday they are searching for Tariq Elijah Everett, 27, of 204 Auburn St. in Fayetteville. Everett is charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury and common law robbery.
Danny Clay Quick, 55, of Fayetteville, was assaulted and robbed outside his room at the Coliseum Inn on Monday. Detectives said Everett punched Quick in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head.
