FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest of a Fayetteville man wanted by federal authorities Wednesday.

Tylon Malik Jordan, 22, had outstanding warrants from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and local warrants for violation of pretrial release.

Following a Crime Stoppers tip, authorities searched a home where Jordan was believed to be located and found him hiding inside a dresser.

Jordan was taken into custody about two and a half hours after authorities received the Crime Stoppers tip. He was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a federal hold without bond.
