Fayetteville man killed when SUV slams into tree
A Fayetteville man died late Tuesday when his SUV ran off the road and hit a tree, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man died late Tuesday when his SUV ran off the road and hit a tree, police said.
Tony L. McKeithan, 22, was southbound on Purdue Drive at about 10:45 p.m. when he lost control of his Ford Explorer, police said. A passenger in the SUV, Ontez V. Small, 20, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating to determine the cause of the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 910-433-1807 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
