FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man has been charged in an accidental shooting death over the weekend, police said Monday.

Officers responding to a home in the 6500 block of Wicklow Place at about 11 p.m. Saturday found Erline Freeman, 26, had been shot. She was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she died.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Detective J. Walker with the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
